Senior Physical Design Engineer

  • You will take responsibility for the entire digital back end implementation of digital and mixed signal designs
  • Your duties will include floor planning, IO array design and power supply concept, implementation and analysis
  • You will also take care of place and route together with clock tree analysis and implementation
  • Logic synthesis including DfT insertion and developing timing constraints is also your responsibility
  • A major part of this interesting activity will require your skills in static timing and noise analysis as basis for design timing closure
  • You will have to execute and analyze all required physical checks and provide postlayout data for gate level simulations

  • At least five years of project experience in physical design, preferably EDI/RC based. Additional knowledge of ICC/DC(TC) is a plus
  • Experience in makefile driven implementation flows
  • Proficient use of tcl/tk, Perl knowledge is a plus
  • PrimeTime/SI is a must, ETS certainly a plus
  • Mentor based physical verification, alternatively PVE knowledge is required
  • Good understanding of physical effects like leakage, noise, OCV and mitigation techniques
  • Exposure to mixed signal design, analog design or digital FE design are desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously and guide less experienced Designers
  • Strong communication Skills are a must for your Position
