For our Headquarter in Trübbach, Switzerland, we are looking for a

Product Manager

Your main tasks
 
 
  • Take over responsibility in the product life cycle in respect of functionality, quality and cost of the product based on technical specifications and in alignment with the lead of the product platform
  • Provide and maintain the entire product documentation
  • Manage product discontinuation(s) and obsolescence in alignment with supply chain, BUs and customer service
  • Support technical sales of the BU in the offering phase (review specifications, provide quotes for specials, modifications, etc.)
  • Take over project responsibility in product development programs/projects (incl. general product release plan) to realize product strategy
  • Support management of the product portfolio in coordination with all internal customers (business units [BU], operations/ manufacturing, supply chain, customer service)
  • Maintain product configurator for released systems to allow BUs accurate calculations/definition of COGS and the scope of supply
  • Tracking of COGS, warranty costs and equipment reliability figures (UDT, SDT, uptime, MTBA, MTTR) for continuous cost-down and reliability improvements
  • Screening and understanding of competition in cooperation with BUs
Your profile
 
  • Technical university degree in engineering or equivalent (we are also open to university graduates with little work experience)
  • understanding of business processes
  • First experience in project management
  • Solution oriented, pragmatic and service oriented
  • Very good communication skills
  • Working experience in international companies is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and German
