Supply Chain Analyst

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be a key team member in supporting a robust supply chain for our medical product line. In this role you will serve as an expert in material procurement, supplier management and supply metrics management.  The role is based in Rheintal (SG) / Zürich (ZH), Switzerland with travel to Asia and the US.
We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to push the status quo, can work well with cross-functional teams, serve as an expert in supply chain management and share expertise with colleagues.

To be successful, you will need: 
·      A minimum of 4 years related work experience required; supply chain analysis. 

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (Medical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.)
  • An aptitude for understanding complex interactions and the ability to communicate with different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics, etc.) 
  • Uses advanced analysis tools and methods to manage the supply chain (Excel Advanced Analysis tools) 
  • Demonstrated abilities working with cross-functional teams. 
  • Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts
  • Understand contracts and pricing
  • Has experience working closely with finance partners; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. 
  • Good written and spoken  English and German Skills 

In particular you can expect to: 

  • Execute the demand plan based on forecast and the annual operating plan in collaboration with our Asian contract manufacturer and our global supply chain.
  • Proactively manage the supply chain and make adjustments as required based on current status to ensure delivery of product to our end customers.
  • Develop and report Key performance indicators to ensure service levels and inventory levels meet company targets including support the S&OP process.
  • Work closely with customer service and other cross functional team members to successfully launch new product introductions and manage changes that impact the supply chain.
  • Analyze data from ERP system and finance reports along with KPIs to ensure cash flow and material supply is understood by key stakeholders.
  • Support cost saving opportunities and conduct price negotiations within the supply chain.
  • Utilize lean concepts to identify constraints and introduce ideas for continuous improvements.
  • Use your skills in database management and spreadsheet analysis to help the business increase cash flows, inventory turns, and employee productivity.
