Your daily contribution: Technical expert for casting technology, covering a strategically critical procurement category for BC Group Supports Category Management and Procurement in technical supplier selection, evaluation, and ongoing supplier development Acts as key interface between suppliers and internal functions on technical matters (Engineering, Quality, Sales/Service, Project Management) Conducts technical supplier audits and assesses part requirements for foundry processes Monitors casting quality and leads or contributes to category projects and contract processes Drives casting optimization initiatives with Engineering and suppliers Drives quality improvement initiatives with Engineering, Supplier Quality and Development team and Suppliers including conducting RCA's, corrective and preventive measures (8D or similar) Manages technical escalations, risk analysis, and mitigation actions for casting parts, including maintaining a casting risk management system Management of patterns, creating guidelines, maintaining global pattern databases etc. Defines standards and guidelines (e.g. patterns, prototypes, material specifications) and provides technical guidance across global procurement and expert teams

Responsibilities: The Group role defines the framework of the Quality & EOHS function: Cultivate a culture of Quality and Safety through projects and actions aligned with the company mission statement. Design and implement dashboards for effective reporting. Global coordination of relevant Quality – related activities between global functions and legal entities. Design and implement mental health campaigns to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of group employees. The Division Role ensures the operational Q&EOHS Management within the Group’s framework: Cultivate a culture of Quality and Safety through projects and actions aligned with the company mission statement. Address Client Quality requirements by identifying process controls and mobilizing the organization to enhance customer satisfaction. Improve Supplier quality by identifying and encouraging enhancements. Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities in processes, products, projects, and production. Support and actively join the R&D gate review process. Study and document processes, identifying opportunities to automate or eliminate steps for improved turnaround time. Document improvement action plans for processes, products, projects, and production. Lead project review meetings to evaluate progress and ensure alignment with goals. Establish Quality Assurance Plans for both existing and new projects and products. Design and implement dashboards for effective reporting. Coordinate with internal teams to drive quality-related actions. Ensure Root Cause Analysis of errors are conducted and action plans prepared. Support, facilitation, training of involved employees on product quality topics and customer quality issues resolution. Global coordination of relevant Quality – related activities between global functions and legal entities. Implement, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards at Burckhardt Compression in Switzerland (BCAG) and other assigned legal entities. Safeguard assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference. Organize and conduct internal and external audits at BC to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Design and implement mental health campaigns to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of group employees. Manage Quality function and provide functional leadership within a divisional and regional matrix.

Ihr zukünftiger Arbeitsalltag: Selbständiges Einrichten und bedienen von CNC-Dreh-, Fräsbearbeitungszentern Herstellen von Einzelteilen und Kleinserien Mehrmaschinenbedienung Erstellen und Optimieren von CNC-Programmen (Werkstattprogrammierung) Mitarbeit im Kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozess (KVP)

Ihr zukünftiger Arbeitsalltag: Aufstellung, Einrichtung und Einfahren der Kompressoren auf dem Prüfstand inkl. Probeläufen mit Kunden Durchführung von Leck-Prüfungen Anwendung von Messtechnik und Auswertung der Ergebnisse Analyse von Behebung von Fehlern Demontage und Konservierung der Maschinen für den Versand Durchführung von Verbesserungsprojekten im Prüfstand
